CANOPY MEDIA JOINS B-CORP™ COMMUNITY

Canopy Media are proud to announce that on Monday 7th October 2024 we officially received certification as a B Corporation (B-Corp™). This marks a significant achievement in our commitment to prioritising sustainability, social responsibility and ethical business practices.  


B Corp™ is a global community of for-profit leaders pledging to use business as a force for good.  


In May 2023, Canopy started the rigorous application process which evaluates businesses on 5 key areas: Governance, Environment, Customers, Workers & Community. Our team worked with B Lab for over a year to complete the comprehensive B Impact Assessment™. Canopy will use this assessment as a marker of progress and will continue to work on making a positive change both within our company and in our industry. Our accreditation will be reviewed every three years. 


The B-Corp™ certification signifies and reinforces Canopy’s commitment to long-term sustainability and positive contributions to society, beyond just profit generation.
