The Spectator is the latest publisher to appoint Canopy Media to manage their classified advertising. This move follows on from the success of The Spectator commissioning Canopy to manage their insert sales in 2015.

The Spectator is the oldest continuously published magazine in the English language, dating back to 1828 and today delivering independence of opinion and elegance of expression to 70,000 subscribers and 2 million online readers.

The move will see Canopy handling all classified advertising for The Spectator with immediate effect.

This partnership follows the success of Canopy’s existing long term partnerships with other key publishers which include Time Inc, The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph, Haymarket and HELLO! Magazine.

“The Spectator provides the sharpest analysis in Britain every week and we’re delighted to present the additional advertising opportunities to our clients. The Spectator are a valued partner and we look forward to taking the renowned British brand to even greater heights”

Chris Grey, Chief Executive Officer, Canopy Media

“We’ve been working with Canopy for several years now – they are trusted partners delivering an excellent and personal level of service. Canopy know our brand inside out and are well-set to further develop classified ad revenue”

Jeremy Halley, Director of Advertising, The Spectator

‘Amplify your sales operation’

For 10 years Canopy have been helping media owners navigate the ever-changing media market place! With the market more fragmented than ever, we capture those increasingly ‘hard-to-reach’ advertising budgets. Our business is focused on managing the sales and fulfilment for revenue lines where our partners no longer have the resource or reach. This allows our partners to focus on their core, high growth revenue lines, whilst knowing that we have their traditional revenue streams well covered.
